The Shot Clock wrote that, after four years of evaluating hundreds of players for the highest level, it considered Mbaye Ndiaye's transition from ASVEL to Olympiacos the most misguided assessment it had made. According to the writer, Ndiaye had adapted to Olympiacos's needs and improved his shooting, evolving into a key player for the team. He described it as a great success in scouting, as he believed he was ready to play a leading role in the EuroLeague champions and act as a steady closer. The Shot Clock also highlighted Carr, who, as he wrote, had been scoring consecutive 20-point games, Robinson Earl, whom he described as one of the best players in Europe and noted was playing in the Eurocup, and Lofton. He added that last season's Valencia players —Montero, Badio, De Larrea, and Pradilla— had scattered to different teams. According to him, the value of roster planning was that it increased the chances of identifying players who could elevate a team without guaranteeing infallible selections. Finally, he announced an upcoming detailed article on the subject. #basketball #scouting #αθλητισμός (translated)
