A reflection from Colombia Colombia has just spent one night experiencing the arrival of BTS and, amidst all the excitement, we have also seen how situations that do not correspond or are presented out of context are starting to be attributed to the Colombian fandom. We completely understand the concern regarding what happened at the airport. As a fandom, we also consider it essential that BTS's privacy is respected, and that is precisely why we are vigilant about the actions of Colombian media and attentive to any situation that may violate their rights or privacy. It is not about justifying behaviors that are not appropriate. If something needs to be pointed out, it will be pointed out. If something needs to be corrected, it will be corrected. But that does not mean that the actions of some individuals can be used to generalize about an entire fandom or an entire country. This is the first time BTS is in Colombia, and we are learning as we go. Thousands of people have been working for months, organizing and doing everything possible to ensure these concerts are a safe, respectful, and special experience for everyone. That's why we also ask for responsibility when sharing information. We have seen posts that use images or videos from other areas, other moments, or situations that do not correspond to what happened here to build a narrative about Colombia. That is also misinformation and unfairly affects the image of an entire country. We can talk about what happened, question it, and ask for explanations when necessary. What we do not consider correct is to turn specific situations into a representation of an entire fandom. Our goal remains the same: to protect BTS's privacy, maintain a good atmosphere for ARMY, and ensure that BTS takes the best possible experience from Colombia. And regarding the situations related to production and screens, we believe that it is correct to keep the conversation in its proper context: these are specific issues on which clarifications can be requested directly from the corresponding official sources. Requesting information, transparency, or an official statement does not mean attacking any artist or questioning the concert's execution. We want to enjoy these two concerts. We want to savor them. We want BTS to enjoy Colombia. And precisely for that reason, we will continue to act responsibly, attentive to what happens, and expressing ourselves firmly, respectfully, and professionally. Colombia deserves to be represented responsibly. (translated)

What they are doing to us is crap, no one is removing the airport issue and the fact that few are making us all pay is crap. But coming here to create false information and bring out their xenophobia is another thing, because they haven't done this with any other country. (translated)

They are using two videos that are fake. Here everything about the people who went to the airport is being shared, please stop spreading these videos. It is not in Colombia. If no Latam account uploads it, it's because it's a lie. Everything is being re-uploaded here and we are reporting it. (translated)

And this is not just for one country, IT'S FOR EVERYONE, it's up to you to ensure that BTS has a good experience in YOUR COUNTRY. It's up to you to make them continue considering your country for future dates; how you behave also influences their decision to return. If they are harassed or bothered at airports or in their free time, that says a lot. PLEASE KNOW HOW TO BEHAVE LATAM 🙏🗣️ (translated)

🚨 JUST IN CASE YOU FORGOT THE WORDS OF YOUR OWN FAVORITE, TAEHYUNG WAS HERE JUST A FEW MONTHS AGO, do not go to the airports, do not go to their hotels, do not harass them if you see them sightseeing, know how to behave, LATAM. 🫵 It is the first time that BTS comes to some countries in LATAM, and it’s up to you to make sure they have a good experience (without harassment) so that they continue to consider you for future concerts. 🚨 Statement to Caracol News and media Today, September 30, @NoticiasCaracol broadcast live from outside the hotel where BTS is staying and announced that broadcast on their networks. Reporting in real-time where they are or where they are staying puts at risk their safety, that of their team, and that of the citizens, and can provoke crowds. We ask the media to remove content that reveals their location and not to broadcast live from airports or hotels. And to the ARMY community: do not share or comment on information about where they are, do not go to the airport or the hotel, and respect their peace. If you see posts with private information, report them on the platform, without harassing or attacking anyone. Reporting on BTS is welcome. Reporting where they are, is not. 💜 Union of Fanbases of Colombia #BogotáReceibeABTS #BTSenBogotá #RespectForBTS (translated)

From the aeronautics authority blocking my security escort at the airport of Soledad, as president of the republic broaden and eliminate corruption, to even closing the university with a lock to prevent me from speaking with the students about the upcoming budget and public education. The Israeli press reports that one of the FlyDubai pilots tried to crash the plane, but was subdued by the other pilot and by Israeli passengers. The plane finally landed at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia. The context of the incident can be read in the post that I am quoting below (Part 1), and in the image, you can see the abrupt descent during the attempt to crash it. (translated)

💜🇨🇴 #BTS #OneDirection #Respeto
