The violence in Overasselt, which stemmed from a heightened drug conflict and resulted in the death of a security officer and injuries to two police officers, is described by Justice Minister Van Weel as unprecedented and new, but criminologist Henk Ferwerda points out that such violence is not un-Dutch and that the escalations in the drug world have indeed become more excessive in recent years.

#Beveiliging #VrijheidVanMeningsuiting #SocialMediaRisico
