V roce 1990 se narodilo 130 000 dětí. V roce 1999 to bylo 89 000 dětí. Plodnost tak během 90. let klesla z 1,9 na 1,13. Tyto děti jsou dnes dospělé a v minulém roce vyprodukovaly 77 000 potomků s plodností 1,28 a všichni jsou z toho zděšení. Společenské téma k řešení to bezesporu je. Jen je trochu komické sledovat, jak se nad tím nejvíc pohoršuje generace, za které porodnost dramaticky klesla a která té dnešní připravila dárečky v podobě krize bydlení, nedostavěné infrastruktury a státu, který si musí půjčovat i na uživení vlastních důchodů.
