The ₿unker 🪖 published a satirical portrait of Hugo, a 34-year-old man born in Clermont-Ferrand and living in Paris, whom they described as torn between his social ambitions, consumption habits, and political convictions. The author presented him as a buyer of biodynamic wine and a voter for Jean-Luc Mélenchon, while criticizing his use of cocaine and his desire to work for LVMH thanks to a family connection. In the story, Hugo had bought a 38 m² apartment on credit from Crédit Agricole over 25 years in 2021, at a price of 10,000 euros per square meter on Avenue Parmentier. On October 17 at 11:40 PM, riots were taking place in his street: the Monoprix was looted and his car was damaged, according to the author. He added that the property management had subsequently demanded 4,800 euros for repairs and that a real estate agent estimated that a quick sale would require a price of 8,200 euros per square meter. The text also asserted that the local property tax rate had increased by 52% under Anne Hidalgo in 2023. The story concluded with Hugo losing his job after a Hermes agent completed in twelve minutes a task he had planned for the end of the quarter. The ₿unker 🪖 contrasted his fate with that of his cousin Théo, who moved to Mexico, and then urged its readers to "vote with their feet." #Paris #Société #Immobilier (translated)
