Niet omdat er een uitzonderlijke ramp op ons afkomt, maar omdat het twee dagen warm wordt. En zo gaat de conditionering rustig verder: waarschuwing na waarschuwing, code na code, alarm na alarm. Tot straks juist dát in het collectieve geheugen blijft hangen: “Zie je wel hoeveel waarschuwingen we kregen? Het klimaat werd steeds extremer.” De welwillende gelovigen aan het altaar van de klimaatkerk zullen ze alvast blijven tellen. Niet alleen het weer wordt zomers warm. Ook de retoriek erover raakt stilaan oververhit. P.S. Ik heb alvast geprobeerd me uit te schrijven van Be-alert app maar dat lijkt niet evident.
