The article criticizes the government for the plan to reduce electricity distribution fees by increasing subsidies from the Modernization Fund, which, however, will worsen the financing of important programs for renewable sources and energy transformation and will not change the underlying problem in regulation that motivates distributors to make unnecessary investments instead of effectively using the existing infrastructure.
