#pijetet

Danas trebamo pokazati pijetet prema bošnjačkim žrtvama u Srebrenici. Ja to činim i ovog puta. I uvijek ćemo to činiti.

Today, with reverence, we remember the victims of the genocide in Srebrenica. Croatia, which carries the painful experience of Vukovar and suffering in the Homeland War, knows how important peace, truth, and the dignity of each victim are. That is why we keep the memory alive so that hatred and crimes against the innocent never happen again. (translated)

Today, as we remember all the victims of the genocide against Bosniaks in Srebrenica with deep respect and share in the suffering and pain of their families, we once again clearly and unequivocally condemn this horrific crime. The victims of Srebrenica remain permanently etched in our consciousness as a warning. (translated)

With sorrow, we remember more than 8,000 Bosniak men and boys killed in the genocide in Srebrenica in 1995. Srebrenica obliges us to preserve the truth, nurture the culture of remembrance, and decisively reject hatred, violence, and denial of crimes. May it never happen again, anywhere. (translated)

Today, with deep respect, we remember all the victims of the Bleiburg tragedy and the Death March, crimes committed after the Second World War that left deep wounds in numerous Croatian families. We pay tribute to the innocent victims killed without trial, deprived of basic human rights. (translated)

In Bleiburg, we remember human fates, extinguished lives without the right to speak, defend themselves, or receive a trial. Every innocent victim deserves respect, truth, and prayer. May Bleiburg permanently remind us how precious peace, freedom, and human dignity are. 🕯️ (translated)
