"Premjera reakcija pēc vētras bija emocionāla un ļoti kritiska. Viņš nesaudzēja ne valsts institūcijas, ne privāto sektoru. Premjera galvenie pārmetumi pēc tam, kad ciklons daudzviet Latvijā paralizēja elektroapgādi un sakarus tika vērsti par bezpalīdzību un neorganizētību - premjers publiski pauda asu neapmierinātību un izbrīnu par to, cik nesagatavota valsts ir šādām dabas stihijām. Viņu šokēja fakts, ka, pazūdot elektrībai, uzreiz apstājās dzīvībai svarīgu pakalpojumu sniegšana. Viņš bija sašutis, ka pat lielākajiem DUS tīkliem un pārtikas veikaliem nebija pašu autonomo dīzeļģeneratoru. Rezultātā iedzīvotāji krīzes brīdī nevarēja nedz iepildīt degvielu automašīnās, nedz nopirkt pirmās nepieciešamības preces un ūdeni. Īpašu premjera kritiku saņēma telekomunikāciju uzņēmumi. Vētras laikā ātri izlādējās mobilo sakaru bāzes staciju akumulatori. Tā kā nebija rezerves ģeneratoru, iedzīvotāji palika bez sakariem un nespēja sazvanīt pat glābšanas dienestus, ko premjers nosauca par nepieņemamu situāciju. Rezultātā premjers uzdeva Iekšlietu ministrijai un citām atbildīgajām iestādēm steidzami pārskatīt civilās aizsardzības plānus. Viņš pieprasīja likumdošanā iestrādāt stingras prasības, kas liktu kritiskās infrastruktūras objektiem obligāti nodrošināties ar darba kārtībā esošiem strāvas ģeneratoriem." Vētra bija ļoti labs tests mūsu gatavībai. Tas ka pazūd elektrība - skaidrs. Sadales tīkls strādā, tur gan jau var kaut ko uzlabot, bet diez vai daudz. Te tiešām vairāk pašiem jāmāk organizēties. Tas pats ar kritušiem kokiem utt. Kas iezīmējās kā pamatproblēmas: 1) sakari -nav rezerves sakaru, ja pazūd elektrība, https://t.co/WizLPtTVHA. nav sazvanāms 112, tā ir milzu problēma (acīm redzama IeM iepriekšējās vadības nolaidība); 2)ģeneratoru trūkums - nav pārdomāts, kam ir jāstrādā vismaz krīzes apjomā, sakaru torņi, DUS, ūdens u.tml.; 3) Apziņošana - LSM vienkārši izgāzās. Radio un TV nekādu derīgu informāciju nesniedza. Te darbs @Ivars_Abolins - ir jāprasa reāla atbildība no LSM vadības.
