The object entered Lithuania's airspace and was monitored. Reports (about the air threat – ELTA) were sent to the Kaunas, Šiauliai, and Biržai districts. Unfortunately, due to complicated weather conditions, we have the obligation to identify the object during peacetime, but due to the difficult weather conditions, the fighter pilots were unable to accurately identify what is flying, whether it is a drone, and what level of threat this object poses. Currently, monitoring is underway, and we are in communication with the military. The Minister of National Defense, Robertas Kaunas, stated that due to the weather conditions, the fighter pilots could not precisely determine what object may have entered the airspace on Sunday. #oroSąlygos #nacionalinėSaugumas #Kaunas (translated)
