To say that Margaret Hamilton was a pioneer – to say that she was ahead of her time – would be a gross understatement. She was a software engineer at a time when the field was still in its infancy, and she not only developed advanced code herself but also led a team in using this emerging technology to develop one of the most complex systems humanity has ever created," said Olivier de Weck, head of the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at MIT, for the MIT website. #MargaretHamilton #programskaOprema #zgodovinaInženirstva (translated)

"Hamilton defined new forms of software engineering and helped launch an industry that forever changed human history. Her software architecture enabled humanity to make huge strides forward, as she wrote the code that helped America land on the Moon." #MargaretHamilton #programskaOprema #zgodovinaInženirstva (translated)
