VeRN wrote that he had been working at a logistics company for 18 months and had been mentored by a married senior VP in his late 40s, who had significantly promoted the author's career. Although the relationship always seemed professional, the manager occasionally asked about project statuses late on weekends. For a client trip to Zurich, hotel rooms had initially been booked through the company portal. On the day of departure, the manager informed that he had changed the reservation using his company card to secure a discount. At check-in, a hotel employee explained that the rooms were connected by a connecting door. VeRN initially suspected a booking error, as the hotel had been fully booked due to a conference. On the second night, VeRN heard around 1 a.m. the sound of the lock on the connecting door being quietly turned from the manager's side. Subsequently, VeRN spent the weekend seeking confidential legal advice before a decision was made about filing a report. #Mentor #Karriere #Zürich (translated)
