Friends: On this occasion, I present to you my new book: People. The previous one, Greatness, is about the joy of living in a country with deep cultural roots, values, and spirituality. For this last one, I initially thought of naming it Glory to tell the also fruitful political history of Mexico. However, I decided, with the same purpose, to call it People, although the mere word may cause discomfort to some who forget that in a true democracy, the sovereign, the one who rules, forgive me for repeating it, is the people. With these two books, I conclude the foundation of what we call Mexican Humanism, a conception and alternative model applied by the Fourth Transformation movement, whose essence can be defined in one phrase: for the good of all, first the poor.
