Insightful start of the week - hosting the EU27 discussion with Deputy Prime Minister @VVChentsov 🇺🇦, who shared the latest updates on Ukraine's progress in the EU accession process. Ukraine is Europe, and all remaining negotiating clusters should be opened as soon as possible. https://t.co/xDvg5kfroD #Ukraine #EUpolitics #AccessionProcess #UA #EU

Well-rounded discussion on MFF and EU security at the @Europarl_EN with Baltic states' journalists. New geopolitical situation calls for Europe to be more powerful and competitive, and the next MFF has to reflect it, including investment into defence and critical infrastructure. https://t.co/MvoYpDsfjB #MFF #EUSecurity #Geopolitics #EE #LV #LT

Investment in defense and protection of critical infrastructure will keep Europe resilient and strong in the face of growing hybrid geopolitical threats, especially in the EU's Eastern regions. Thank you, @InsuranceEurope, for organising this timely and important discussion. https://t.co/AfddGpwaB9 #DefenseInvestment #Resilience #HybridThreats #EU

This morning with partners from EU & NATO we discussed readiness of the Eastern Flank to power up European security by investing more, by being more agile & mobile. We shall be very clear: strong Eastern Flank is a central backbone of strong Europe💪 https://t.co/stQth6LA9d #EasternFlank #EuropeanSecurity #NATO #EU #NATO

Today @Europarl_EN awarded President Valdas Adamkus the European Order of Merit for his leading role in Lithuania's accession to the EU and NATO.
