Leandro Grass thanked the 569,930 people who, according to him, voted for him and brought the competition to the second round. He stated that he faced the government's machine, abuse of communication power, and a campaign based, in his assessment, on lies and fear. He also thanked supporters who campaigned and his family. Grass said that on the 25th, the voters of Brasília would choose between him — a professor, former district deputy, and former president of IPHAN — and Celina Leão. Regarding her, he stated that she was being prosecuted for impropriety in the Drácon case and was the vice of Ibaneis in the government which he called the “BRB-Master scandal.” The candidate said he would seek to form a broad front, including with those who did not vote for him, and that he intended to defeat the government and “return the DF to its people.” He also supported the re-election of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and stated that, with Lula in office, he would expand popular pharmacies, the number of vacancies in Pé-de-Meia and ProUni, the number of doctors, full-time schools, and social benefits, in addition to offering more credit to attract companies. #Brasília #Eleições2024 #Lula (translated)
