As for what might be realistic or more realistic, I am not yet ready to express an opinion. I do not want to state something, and then Russia – as always – does exactly the opposite, out of pure defiance. So, let’s wait and see," said Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday. #Ucraina #SUA #Pace (translated)

Levy Rincón stated that the price of roasted chicken had risen during the government of Abelardo de la Espriella and said that Luis Carlos Vélez would not react with tears or displays, as—according to Rincón—he had done before. He also insulted Vélez with sexual and dehumanizing expressions and insisted that he should remain silent or they could take away the apartment of Alex Saab in which, according to what he wrote, he lived in Miami. #Política #Colombia #AbelardoDeLaEspriella (translated)

Nicușor Dan stated that his proposal for the position of prime minister was Luca Niculescu, whom he said, as a diplomat, knew how to harmonize different positions. According to Dan, Niculescu had been involved in the process of Romania's accession to the OECD over the past four years and had worked with institutions in the country, contributing to the drafting of 100 normative acts with the agreement of parliamentary parties. Dan claimed that accession to the OECD could allow the Romanian economy and administration to make a leap. He said he appointed Niculescu after consultations that day, believing that he had the best chance of securing a parliamentary majority. Following discussions with the parties, Niculescu was to be able to decide whether the government would be political or technocratic, Dan added. Dan also said that Romania needed a government as soon as possible for institutional rectifications and for preparing next year's budget. He warned that prolonging uncertainty could affect the lives of Romanians and cited the evolution of the exchange rate, credit interest rates, and investments, which, according to him, were waiting for the conclusion of this period and would mean jobs. Dan stated that he had the guarantee that a government led by Niculescu would maintain Romania's pro-Western direction and would respect the financial targets and commitments made by the country. #România #guvern #OCDE (translated)

The reason why Russia seems to want to intensify hybrid activities on NATO territory is that the Alliance and its member states have made significant efforts to support Ukraine. It is therefore natural for Russia to try to impose consequences for this support. However, the response is not to back down. The response is to provide Ukraine with even more support. Matthew Whitaker, the US ambassador to NATO: "The reason why Russia seems to want to intensify hybrid activities on NATO territory is that the Alliance and its member states have made significant efforts to support Ukraine. "The attacker was lying there shouting at the crew members: 'Kill me, kill me!'. So it is clear that he had suicidal tendencies. This is not in question. It was clear that he was about to crash the plane. And if you relate this to what I just told you about his Islamist inclinations and the process of radicalization found in his past, I think this gives us a fairly clear indication." #Flydubai #atac #Israel (translated)
