Antti Häkkänen thanked the members of parliament for the trust placed in him and stated that the safety of Finns is the most important task in a dangerous world. He wrote that Finland needed the best possible defense tools for the country's defense and to prevent military aggression. According to him, not all necessary tools were available in Europe, so cooperation with the United States, Israel, and South Korea was critical for defense capability. Häkkänen stated that Russia's warfare in Ukraine has shown that especially air defense must be of the best possible quality. He justified the urgent strengthening of defense capability by the development of the threat environment and mentioned that ongoing wars and issues with the availability of components and raw materials had complicated the production and delivery of orders in the defense industry. Häkkänen wrote that Finland would do everything possible to obtain defense tools on time and with the best technology. He warned that delays would directly affect the country's defense readiness and increase security risks. He said that Finland would continue to follow the material policy outlined in the defense report prepared in broad parliamentary cooperation and hoped for a wide understanding of strengthening security. #Puolustus #Turvallisuus #Suomi (translated)

Arvon suomalaiset. Suomi on EU:n ykkönen siinä, ettei autoon ole varaa. Suomi maksoi Marinin johdolla miljardeja Etelä-Euroopan “elvytykseen”. Italia käyttää näitä rahoja ensi vuonna siihen, että jättää ajoneuvoveron perimättä 14,5 miljoonalta autolta. Ja me äänestämme SDP:n pääministeripuolueeksi taas ensi vaaleissa. Jatkakaa. #Suomi #EU #vaalit
