FIN A LAS TRABAS QUE FRENABAN LA INNOVACIÓN BIOTECNOLÓGICA El Gobierno del Presidente @JMilei, a través del Instituto Nacional de la Propiedad Industrial (INPI), derogó la Resolución 283/2015, una traba burocrática heredada del kirchnerismo que durante más de una década limitó el patentamiento de desarrollos biotecnológicos en Argentina. Esta norma dejaba sin protección a los inventores locales, desincentivaba la innovación y empujaba a científicos y empresas hacia otros países. Esta medida significa un cambio de paradigma en la materia, que moderniza los criterios de patentabilidad para materia viva, microorganismos y material genético, y alinea a la Argentina con los estándares internacionales utilizados en los países más avanzados del mundo. ARGENTINA VUELVE AL MUNDO EN BIOTECNOLOGÍA. Por Resolución 197/26 el @INPI_Argentina deroga la Resolución 283/15 sobre (no) patentamiento de materia viva y biotecnología, una mejora trascendental en el respeto a la propiedad intelectual y a la innovación en nuestro país. Aquella norma de los últimos días del segundo mandato de @CFKArgentina, para decirlo en criollo, había hecho casi imposible patentar desarrollos biotecnológicos en Argentina. Exigía que las partes y componentes modificados estuvieran "aislados" del organismo —condición que los privaba de toda aplicación industrial y, por ende, de protección. ¿Cómo innova alguien sin certeza de que su invención será protegida? El resultado fue previsible: Argentina quedó rezagada frente a países que adoptaron criterios más flexibles. Nuestra producción agropecuaria —una de las más competitivas del mundo— no podía acceder a tecnologías clave que mejoran productividad, sustentabilidad y competitividad internacional. Un gol en contra que pagamos todos. Como dice el presidente @JMilei la propiedad privada es el pilar sobre el que se construye una sociedad próspera. Y la propiedad intelectual es una derivada directa de ese principio. No respetarla no es sólo un atentado al derecho de propiedad: es desalentar el conocimiento, la inversión y el progreso. Hace unos meses derogamos la Resolución Conjunta 118/2012 sobre patentes farmacéuticas. Hoy completamos esa lógica en biotecnología agropecuaria. Argentina se alinea con los estándares internacionales que respetan nuestros socios comerciales — y eso no es un dato menor en el marco de los acuerdos comerciales que estamos construyendo. La propiedad intelectual sólida es una condición de entrada a los grandes mercados. No es negociable para la UE, no lo es para EE.UU., no lo es para ningún acuerdo serio. Argentina deja de ser el país que llega a la mesa de negociación con reglas que el mundo rechaza.
