Yesterday was a "super" episode - our aunt (disabled) fell to the ground (it was impossible for one woman to lift her). A man and a woman walked by. Desperately shouting: "Please, please, help!" they were running after them. They didn't respond. Maybe they didn't hear? Again: "I beg you, help!?" The man turned around and replied in broken Latvian: "I will not help you!" The woman didn't even turn around. P.S. A big thank you to the village chat, where a Latvian guy responded, who arrived on a bike in a few minutes and helped lift the disabled aunt into the chair! #palīdzība #izglābšana #latvieši (translated)
