The author of the post criticized Marcin Przydacz for presenting his own account of the behind-the-scenes negotiations as an established fact. He wrote that Przydacz should prove that Radosław Sikorski agreed to withdraw Bogdan Klich, that another candidate was agreed upon for the position in Washington, and that Donald Tusk personally blocked the agreement. He added that the source of this version so far has mainly been Przydacz and the Chancellery of the President, and he assessed the credibility of Przydacz's information as variable. The author referenced Article 133, paragraph 1, point 2 of the Constitution, concerning the appointment and dismissal of representatives of the Republic of Poland, and Article 133, paragraph 3, which — as he wrote — provides for the cooperation of the president with the prime minister and the relevant minister in foreign policy. He added that according to Article 146, paragraph 1, it is conducted by the Council of Ministers, and the president does not independently direct foreign policy or foreign affairs. The writer also noted that Karol Nawrocki's proposal for Sikorski to consider Nikodem Rachoń did not imply that his candidacy was agreed upon. He described the assertion that Sikorski either accepted Rachoń or lied as a false alternative. He demanded that Przydacz provide the name of the agreed candidate for the position in Washington and the basis for the claim that Tusk personally blocked the agreement. #Polska #Polityka #Konsytucja (translated)
