Some medium-range attack drones become practically unusable at lower speeds. They are designed to fly at over 161 kilometers per hour, and the speed cannot be reduced without crashing. This creates major operational problems for us.” Marco belongs to a drone unit in the Ukrainian army and writes on Saturday that Starshield's degraded performance makes some drones less effective and others completely useless. “It seems to be a deliberate and targeted action against our medium-range attack drones,” agrees Marco, whose military rank corresponds to sergeant in Sweden. #Ukraina #Starlink #drönare (translated)

Free Ukraine wrote that Ukrainian drone operations had led to the closure of Moscow's airports during the week, with only brief periods when flights could land and take off. On the night of Saturday, Moscow's airspace had once again been cleared after a drone alarm, and five flights carrying Russian tourists returning from Turkish Antalya had been forced to turn around in the air. According to Free Ukraine, passengers received very little information and had to wait at the airport to board. They could then be left on the planes all night if a new alarm sounded. The author compared the situation to how civilians in Ukraine waited in shelters during the nights and wrote that Russia would have to feel the consequences of the invasion. Free Ukraine also wrote that Russian authorities did not urge people to seek shelter during the drone alarms, which the author interpreted as the authorities being confident that Ukraine was not targeting civilian sites. The author speculated that the greatest threat to the Russians might be their own air defense incompetence. #Ukraina #Ryssland #Drönare (translated)

He stated that activists would start a campaign to boycott the matches since 17-year-old Israeli girls would be playing in Sweden. Schatz wrote that Norrby IF had difficulty finding volunteers for Israel's matches and called the situation shameful. He emphasized that these were young football players who should be able to play without becoming targets for political campaigns and hate. He urged people in the vicinity of Borås to sign up as volunteers or come and show their support, referring to David Kryssman at [email protected]. According to Schatz, France would face Israel on Wednesday, October 21, at 1:00 PM, the Netherlands would face Israel on Saturday, October 24, at 1:00 PM, and Israel would face Sweden on Tuesday, October 27, at 6:00 PM. #Fotboll #Israel #Borås (translated)
