I morse rapporterade TV4 Morgonstudio om det kommande valet i tyska Sachsen-Anhalt, där programledaren varnade för att "högerextrema AfD" kan få egen majoritet och styra en hel delstat. När studions utrikeskommentator fick förklara vad ett maktskifte faktiskt skulle innebära för regionen räknade hon upp skräckscenariot: att AfD vill minska migrationen, förändra skolan, stoppa vindkraften och säga upp avtalet för Public Service. Låter detta som en katastrof eller som en helt vanlig, underbar torsdag för varje vettig människa? Det är obetalbart att se hur paniken sprider sig i studion så fort ett parti vill leverera vad vanliga arbetare faktiskt efterfrågar. 🚨🇫🇷 FLASH LE NOUVEAU MAIRE RN DE CARPENTRAS SUPPRIME ET RÉDUIT LES SUBVENTIONS DE PLUSIEURS ASSOCIATIONS, NOTAMMENT DANS LE SPORT, LA CULTURE, LE LOGEMENT SOCIAL ET LES DROITS DES FEMMES ❌ Élu il y a à peine quelques mois, Hervé de Lépinau a fortement réduit et supprimé plusieurs aides municipales accordées à des associations de Carpentras, au nom des économies et d’un recentrage de la commune sur ses compétences. 👉 Le Planning familial voit sa subvention passer de 3 000 € à 0 €, une première en Vaucluse. L’association agit notamment dans l’accès à la contraception et à l’IVG, l’éducation à la sexualité, l’information, la prévention et l’accompagnement des femmes. Le maire assume aussi une dimension politique à cette suppression, reprochant notamment à l’association ses prises de position contre le RN. Fervent catholique, Hervé de Lépinau avait comparé en 2020 l’avortement à un "génocide", aux "crimes de Daesh" et à la Shoah. 👉 Ironie de l’histoire : après que la mairie a coupé les vivres au Planning familial en supprimant ses 3 000 €, l’association a lancé un appel aux dons et récupéré l’équivalent de cette somme en seulement 24 heures. 👉 Le BMX Carpentras perd 35 000 € de subvention. Fondé en 1985, ce club sportif consacré au BMX accueille des pratiquants dès le plus jeune âge, des enfants aux adultes, et organise également des compétitions officielles. 👉 "Carpentras fait son cinéma" perd 59 000 €. Après six éditions, ce festival faisait participer les habitants aux tournages et avait accueilli plus de 5 000 personnes lors de ses spectacles et cérémonies. Long before the Soviet Union existed, before Lenin seized power, and before socialism had been tested on a national scale, major thinkers were already attacking its foundations—from very different directions. Five of them stand out. Tocqueville: Equality Can Become Servitude In 1848, Alexis de Tocqueville drew a sharp distinction between democracy and socialism. Both spoke about equality. But Tocqueville believed they pursued it in fundamentally different ways. Democracy, in his view, sought equality while preserving individual freedom. Socialism risked achieving equality by expanding the power of the state over the individual. His warning was essentially this: equality is not automatically liberty. A society can pursue equality so aggressively that it begins sacrificing the independence that makes political freedom meaningful.
