And in the opposite case, we hope that if UEFA does not find anything conclusive in the Negreira case, there will also be consequences for the harassment and relentless pursuit that FC Barcelona has been subjected to for years. It cannot go unpunished, and I hope that Barça will do everything necessary for there to be a real turnaround. (translated)

"Javier Milei criticizes the left and the debt: 'If the French left protests against me, I thank them: it’s a medal. The debt is deeply immoral. The debt is nothing more than a deferred tax. This means you are making your current celebrations pay for your children, your grandchildren, and generations yet to be born who have no means of defending themselves. Look at Argentina: when we arrived, the consolidated debt was 100% of GDP. It is now below 40%. Our deficit was 15 percentage points of GDP. We are now at strict balance. The media is corrupt, literally corrupt. As soon as I arrived, I cut off their source of official advertising. So, of course, they harbor a visceral hatred for me! They hate me because they are mostly leftist.'" (translated)

It is hard to find words that do justice to the significance of this award. The Mevlüde Genç Medal is not an ordinary prize for me. It is a great honor - but above all, a commitment. Mevlüde Genç responded to the unimaginable suffering from the attack in Solingen with something that goes far beyond what could be expected: with love, humanity, and reconciliation. Her attitude reminds us that hatred can never be the answer. For me, this award is also personally significant. My story began in Gelsenkirchen and North Rhine-Westphalia. Here I experienced that people of the most diverse backgrounds can live and work side by side quite naturally. I want to pass on these values: to the next generation and to the many young people who are charting their own paths. Education, empathy, and the willingness to understand other perspectives are crucial. Thank you very much to the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and Minister-President Hendrik Wüst for this special honor. I accept it with great gratitude - and with the awareness that it brings responsibility with it. Together is always stronger than division! 🤍 (translated)
