De vriendschap tussen Nederland en het Verenigd Koninkrijk als North Sea Neighbours is erg hecht: van handel en AI tot de energietransitie, en van mensenrechten tot onze veiligheid en defensie. We zien allebei de blijvende noodzaak van steun aan Oekraïne en de leidende rol die het VK speelt in de Coalition of the Willing. Nederland zal daarnaast helpen om de banden tussen het VK en de EU te versterken. Het VK en Nederland investeren als NAVO-partners in (gezamenlijke) defensieprojecten en gezamenlijk bereiden we een missie voor om vrije scheepvaart in de Straat van Hormuz te garanderen, wanneer de omstandigheden dat toelaten.
