Snicklink wrote that the left would realize that their demands for justice and equal treatment had been unsuccessful. The right would find that their desire for safety and tradition had turned against them and had become the basis for their own lack of freedom. Those in the political center, who had remained passive out of fear of taking a clear stance, would also, according to Snicklink, realize that without their own action, nothing would change. Very soon, people would understand that they had been pitted against each other, Snicklink wrote. Their fundamental values and needs, as well as their fears and hopes, had been deliberately addressed— a pattern that had been effective for thousands of years and tapped into tribal thinking. Snicklink also wrote that the human soul had been poisoned by too much information about the trivial and too little about the essential. The human spirit had been shaped and subjugated, and was so far removed from its source that people only found themselves in violence, plundering, envy, and generalizations. They had come to consider this their true nature, Snicklink wrote. The author added that all of this had to happen for people to rediscover themselves. In conclusion, he thanked God for accompanying people on their journey back to love. #Gerechtigkeit #Gesellschaft #Menschlichkeit (translated)

Rain is a great thing: Finally, the plants can at least breathe a little. I sincerely hope that fewer trees dry out next year. 2026 was simply a tragedy. Even in August, some avenues were full of leaves. The drought is unfortunately very real in Berlin and Brandenburg. 😢 (translated)

"A cold front crossed the northwest on the night to Saturday and is moving further south. Behind it, significantly colder air from the north is pushing in. In the south, however, the front is making little progress and is stalling there. At the same time, a cut-off low pressure system is forming over France, which will send more rain clouds from the southwest to Germany starting Sunday. Along this air mass boundary, it will rain for many hours." #Kaltfront #Dauerregen #Herbstwetter (translated)

The Australian exchange student wrote that there may no longer be entrepreneurs capable of building flying cars, satellite networks, or rockets with reverse thrust. Instead, there are people he spoke of in derogatory terms, a freshly ironed rainbow flag, the economist Marcel Fratzscher, and colorfully decorated barricades in front of Christmas markets. He portrayed these as symbols of an open society and commented sarcastically on the contrast. #Gesellschaft #Innovation #Kultur (translated)
