C’è una domanda che il ministro @GuidoCrosetto dovrebbe avere il coraggio di rivolgere prima di tutto a se stesso: perché per un incarico così delicato si è scelto un ex ministro ucraino, invece di valorizzare le enormi competenze che esistono in Italia? Sia chiaro: il problema non è la nazionalità di una persona. Il problema è il criterio con cui vengono assegnati incarichi che riguardano la sicurezza, la difesa e l’innovazione militare del nostro Paese. In Italia abbiamo ingegneri, ricercatori, universitari, tecnici, professionisti e giovani preparatissimi che studiano droni, intelligenza artificiale, cybersecurity, sistemi satellitari e tecnologie della difesa. Perché non partire da loro? Perché non dare a questi italiani la possibilità di dimostrare quanto valgono? Un ministro italiano deve ricordarsi una cosa fondamentale: rappresenta l’Italia e deve rendere conto agli italiani. Se esiste una competenza straniera che può essere utile al nostro Paese, la si può certamente valutare. Ma allora devono essere spiegati con assoluta chiarezza i criteri della scelta, il ruolo, i poteri, la durata dell'incarico, i compensi e soprattutto le garanzie relative alle informazioni sensibili della Difesa. Perché qui non stiamo parlando di una collaborazione qualsiasi. STIAMO PARLANDO DELLA DIFESA DELLA REPUBBLICA ITALIANA. E quando entrano in gioco sicurezza nazionale, tecnologie militari e informazioni strategiche, gli italiani hanno tutto il diritto di pretendere trasparenza, competenza e garanzie. Non possiamo continuare a chiedere sacrifici ai nostri giovani, dire loro di studiare, specializzarsi, eccellere e poi, quando arriva un'occasione importante, farli domandare: “E NOI ITALIANI QUANDO AVREMO LA NOSTRA OPPORTUNITÀ?” Questa è la domanda che deve arrivare forte e chiara al Ministero della Difesa. CROSETTO NON DEVE DIMENTICARE CHI LO PAGA, CHI RAPPRESENTA E A CHI DEVE RISPONDERE: AGLI ITALIANI. La solidarietà internazionale è una cosa. La gestione degli interessi strategici dell'Italia è un'altra. E su questo gli italiani hanno il diritto di pretendere risposte. LE COMPETENZE ITALIANE NON POSSONO ESSERE CONSIDERATE SEMPRE L'ULTIMA SCELTA. Prima di guardare fuori dai nostri confini, guardiamo negli occhi i nostri giovani, i nostri ricercatori e i nostri professionisti e diciamo loro che l'Italia crede ancora nelle loro capacità.
