(TR) Mossad has its first director from the former Soviet Union. He is Roman Gofman, who emigrated from the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic in 1990. Unlike the former Russian-Polish-Ukrainian leadership of Israel in its early days, intelligence was led by people from elsewhere.
