The Rakušan is devouring partners and climbing to the top. Marek Stoniš contacted me. That Marek Stoniš whom I couldn't stand in my trust in a liberal society 5 to 6 years ago. That Marek Stoniš, who was euroskeptical even before I was and who terrified me in the editorial of Reflex, even in my dreams. Today I see it differently and I am starting to appreciate Marek Stoniš more and more. When he led Reflex, many successful people grew under him, who today cannot stand his name. Bohumil Pečinka, Petros Michopulos, Čestmír Strakatý, Martin Bartkovský - all of them worked under Stoniš and got the space, thanks to which they now have their own audiences, whether we agree with them or not. One thing no one can take from Marek Stoniš. As a manager, he always allowed people to grow and often even those whose views contradicted his own. It’s hard to imagine something similar with Michopulos or Bartkovský. Out of respect, which is slowly disappearing from the world today, I therefore wrote a text for the magazine TO led by Stoniš and I took unusual care with it. It's about the origins, establishment, and history of the STAN movement with a focus on Víta Rakušan. At first, STAN was "created" by Polčák with Gazdík and Michalik, but secretly, behind the white horses Besser, Pecková, and Rakušan. Gangsters in the background, values in the foreground. In this way, the "Stanaři" still disguise themselves today as the hypothetical YES for liberals. Then came the Dozimetr scandal, and everything changed. Víta Rakušan survived, got rid of uncomfortable partners, Gazdík and Polčák ended up in the dustbin of history, and gangsters were replaced by leading billionaires, liberal sponsors, and value patrons. Slowly but surely, the STAN movement was also nibbling at ODS of Petr Fiala, so that the party is now devouring increased paces. The reason for the current successful transformation of the white horse into an all-capable opposition leader is simple. Víta Rakušan's new alliances include media house owners, whose protection is absolutely crucial for the STAN movement. The same people also support Petr Pavel, which has brought Rakušan to the best marketers in the market - those who "created" the current head of state. To make matters worse, Víta Rakušan has closed another crucial alliance - this one with Ursula von der Leyen. The STAN movement remains the only party in Leyen’s faction (EPP) that has strength on the domestic scene. For Leyen to survive, she needs to succeed in the 2029 elections, and the Czech guarantor of that success is none other than Víta Rakušan. The increasingly desperate leader of the European Commission will do everything possible and impossible for her horses. Media promotion? No problem. Will systems like RRS, DSA, and other "protective walls of democracy" be used in Rakušan's favor? We'll see. From the white horse of gangsters and crooks like Redl, Polčák, Gazdík, and Michalik, Rakušan has moved to the very top. He is the leader of the opposition and is backed by Prague Castle and the most powerful woman in Europe. Other opposition parties do not realize that their fate has already been decided a long time ago. They are not members of the right European faction and do not have Rakušan's connections. The leader of the STAN movement is thus gradually swallowing one after the other and climbing to the very top on their backs. Will this succeed? Will Rakušan become the Czech Péter Magyar, as he plans? I also address this in the main article of the new issue of the magazine TO. I saw the issue, and besides a number of interesting texts, I must point out the beautiful piece about 30 not-so-famous heroes of the terrorist attack on October 7 in Israel. I can tell when someone puts effort into the text, and this work is literally perfect, exceptionally sad, but it also encourages reflection on whether we ourselves would find the courage in a crisis or not. The story of 85-year-old Shlomo Ron, who hid his family, arranged the house to appear as if he lived alone, and voluntarily allowed himself to be shot for the sake of saving his loved ones, will shake even the strongest temperaments.
