Patryk Spaliński wrote that the Polish government has postponed the implementation of ETS2 by a year, to 2028, which he ironically described as a great success. He claimed that the country is completely unprepared, and with the current rise in energy prices, the consequences could be very severe. #Polska #energia #ETS2 (translated)

Jakub Balcerzak wrote that Ran Takahashi was set to debut in the TAURON League as a member of Bogdanka LUK Lublin. He described the 25-year-old Japanese player as someone who combined recognition among fans and collaboration with major brands with the ambition for further sports development. According to the author, the transfer to Lublin was not merely a marketing move: the club had tried to acquire the player earlier, and this year’s discussions were the third attempt. Balcerzak stated that Takahashi only now believed he was ready to play in Poland, and the prospect of playing alongside Wilfredo Leon was an important argument for him. According to Balcerzak, Takahashi started as a libero, and he became interested in volleyball thanks to his older brother Rui. He gained wider attention as an outside hitter when, in his last year of school, he led Higashiyama to the Japanese high school championship, after which he began studying at Nippon Sport Science University. Philippe Blain called him up for VNL 2021, despite his limited experience in senior volleyball, and he subsequently made it to the squad for the Olympic Games in Tokyo. In his national team debut, he achieved, according to data cited by the author, 50% attacking efficiency, 35% attack effectiveness, and 80% positive reception. Balcerzak wrote that after the 2021 national team season, Takahashi, at Blain's urging, went to Italy. In December 2021, he joined Padwa, and later moved to Monza, with which he reached the LegaVolley finals and the Challenge Cup semifinals in 2024. In the 2024 league season, he recorded 49% attacking efficiency, 35% attack effectiveness, and 53% positive reception. After three years in Italy, he returned to Japan after the 2024 national team season, which — as the author described — was hampered by ankle injuries and a defeat at the Olympic Games. According to Balcerzak, Takahashi became the face of the SV League project, and in the first season he won a double gold crown and almost all individual awards. After his second season in Japan, he chose Lublin, wanting to find himself in a new environment before the Los Angeles Olympics. The author stated that in the 2026 national team season, the player was among the top five volleyball players, recording 53% attacking efficiency, 39% attack effectiveness, and 53% positive reception. He also quoted coach Stéphane Antiga’s opinion, who described Takahashi as a “complete outside hitter,” and pointed out that the player particularly valued defense, precision, and mentality. #TAURONLiga #Siatkówka #RanTakahashi #Debiut (translated)

Maciej Kawecki from This Is IT wrote that Tesla presented a new generation of the Roadster yesterday with a SpaceX package, which — as he claimed — allows the car to perform jumps and maneuvers in the air. He described the solution as a technical effect rather than a special effect. According to Kawecki, high-pressure COPV tanks with hundreds of liters of compressed air were to be placed behind the rear seats. The onboard computer was supposed to control valves and actuators, releasing gas through nozzles around the body. The author wrote that impulses of compressed air were meant to enable short lift-offs from the ground, stabilization in flight, and faster acceleration. He emphasized that the nozzles would not be used for continuous flying, and aerodynamic elements and fans were to press the car to the road during normal driving. Kawecki praised the precision of the SpaceX teams and pointed out that three Poles were supposed to work on the Roadster. He added that Bison Fellowship scholars were to meet with them and congratulated the creators of the car. The post was accompanied by a video from Tesla. #Tesla #Roadster #SpaceX (translated)
