Jaf relayed a statement in which King Mohammed VI expressed satisfaction with the announced end of MINURSO after 35 years and mentioned the final days of the mission in the southern provinces. The text estimated that the non-renewal of the mission would put an end to the periodic examination of the file by the UN Security Council, as well as the reports of the Secretary-General and the briefings of his personal envoy. The statement also asserted that the UN political process was suspended and that similar steps would be taken in other UN bodies. It indicated that Morocco remained committed to the ceasefire and claimed that more than two-thirds of UN members supported autonomy under Moroccan sovereignty as a framework for resolving the dispute. According to the post, the CGT noted that, in a four-minute report, only six seconds were devoted to a high school student protester and 24 seconds to peaceful protests. It also denounced a "crude and dishonest" montage in a 12-minute sequence without commentary, composed of raw footage filmed during the protests. The union described a sequence of images of urban violence, fires, damage, injuries, and law enforcement, with images of Jean-Luc Mélenchon. It called for the weekend 8 PM news team to resign. #FranceTélévisions #Journalisme #Mobilisation (translated)
