Seguimos golpeando con toda la fuerza del Estado al crimen organizado en cada rincón de Colombia. En las últimas 24 horas, nuestra Fuerza Pública logró importantes resultados: en Puerto Gaitán, Meta, fueron capturados 11 integrantes del frente 53 de la Segunda Marquetalia; en Fundación, Magdalena, dos integrantes del Clan del Golfo fueron capturados en flagrancia; y en La Macarena fue destruido un laboratorio para el procesamiento de pasta base de coca, con insumos y cultivos utilizados por estas estructuras criminales. A estos resultados se suma un golpe contundente contra el crimen organizado en Popayán, Cauca. Gracias a la denuncia oportuna de un ciudadano y a la rápida reacción de nuestra Policía Nacional, el GAULA y el GOES, rescatamos sano y salvo a un comerciante que había sido secuestrado, golpeado y sometido a exigencias económicas a cambio de respetar su vida y devolverle su camioneta. La operación permitió la captura de cinco personas por secuestro extorsivo y hurto calificado y agravado, la recuperación de una camioneta Toyota Land Cruiser, la incautación de otro vehículo y tres celulares. Cuatro de los procesados fueron enviados a establecimiento carcelario y uno recibió detención domiciliaria. Desde el 7 de agosto, ya son 1.574 capturas, 10 extradiciones y 23.642 kilos de estupefacientes incautados, entre ellos 12.296 kilos de cocaína. Esta es la Fuerza Pública que Colombia necesita: rápida para reaccionar, contundente para golpear al crimen y siempre del lado de los ciudadanos.
