Anfang August schloss Anthropic einen zweiten Vertrag über sechs Jahre und 10 Milliarden Dollar, für Kapazität im norwegischen Tydal, betrieben von Bitdeer, gespeist aus Wasserkraft. Miner waren in jedem Bärenmarkt die Verkäufer der letzten Instanz, weil sie unter den Produktionskosten Coins abgeben mussten, um überhaupt weiterzumachen. Wer stattdessen zwei Jahrzehnte Mietzahlungen in Dollar bekommt, muss das nicht mehr. Die Sicherheit des Netzwerks hängt nicht daran.
