Jon De Lorraine indicated that a curator from the British Museum, where the Bayeux tapestry was located at that time, had estimated that it had become too fragile to remain hung vertically. He specified that the work, nearly 1,000 years old and 70 meters long, had been loaned to the United Kingdom as part of an agreement made by Emmanuel Macron. According to him, upon its return to France in 2027, it should be displayed on an inclined support to better preserve it. #Patrimoine #TapisserieDeBayeux #Conservation (translated)

Actu Foot relayed the comments of Jermaine Pennant, a former player turned consultant, who criticized Ligue 1, which he often refers to as the "farmers' league." He stated that a Ballon d'Or winner could have been a starter only 11 times in the league last season while winning the title without difficulty. In his view, this would not be possible in a more competitive league like the Premier League, where teams had to field their best players every week. However, Pennant praised PSG, believing that the club had demonstrated its strength against top teams and delivered exceptional performances. He stated that PSG was the reigning two-time European champion and approached the competition as the favorite and the team to beat. https://t.co/8JY5LDLDuM #Ligue1 #Football #PSG (translated)

Nikop17 believed that PSG's first period against Manchester City confirmed the team's plan, which he considered similar to that of the previous two seasons: managing preparation and physical condition until January, then ramping up from the round of 16 in the Champions League. He wrote that almost no PSG player had yet played 90 minutes of high-intensity football, unlike some teams already in full swing, and that this approach had paid off for three years. He also claimed that PSG was selecting its matches and that Luis Enrique would use Ligue 1 as a tactical laboratory in the coming months. According to him, the team needed to ensure the essentials, stay in touch with competitors, and accelerate if necessary to win the championship, with the Champions League remaining the top priority. Finally, Nikop17 praised Luis Enrique's work and the collective coordination of the players, particularly in their movements, pressing, and organization without the ball. He criticized some commentators for focusing on the coach's opinion regarding sanctions against Manchester City or on his management of the Ballon d'Or's playing time, rather than analyzing PSG's game. #PSG #MCIPSG #LuisEnrique https://t.co/AAC8TTbzoy #PSG #LigueDesChampions #LuisEnrique (translated)
