But thanks to the people who decided to purchase the pearls of the art collection and donated works, as well as strongly support the artists and the union, we can now pay our obligations ahead of schedule and think through plans on how to best support our members and Estonian art life," said Ektermann. #EestiKunst #KunstnikeLiit #Toetusoksjon (translated)

Christian Marcussen wrote that he had participated in the program Akkurat hos Clement, where the panel had discussed Danish politics as well as the election in Sweden, the unrest in France, and the USA under Donald Trump. He described the government as an artificially composed "Frankenstein government" and pointed to immigration policy as a conflict point. According to him, there would be repeated stories of internal disagreement until the government fell. Marcussen called the issue of citizenship the biggest point of contention and wrote that the three smaller government parties wanted relaxations. He referred to a news report stating that the Moderates, Radikale Venstre, and SF wanted to grant citizenship to 2,055 people who, according to him, were waiting for a model to be developed to filter out anti-democrats. He assessed that the Social Democrats would bend in the matter but wrote that he would like to be wrong. #danskpolitik #valget2023 #statsborgerskab (translated)
