Szymon Jadczak wrote that neurosurgeon Łukasz Grabarczyk received 946 PLN from the county hospital in Pisz for a spinal procedure lasting from 5 to 19 minutes. According to the author, over the course of three years, he performed 2241 such procedures there, working 3–4 days per month. Jadczak reported that an audit by the National Health Fund (NFZ) revealed that patients returned home after a short observation, while the hospital billed them as if they had been hospitalized. For 2023, the facility was to reimburse 670,849.20 PLN. The audit covered one year and one hospital, although — as Jadczak wrote — Grabarczyk performed these procedures in at least three facilities and was still expected to continue doing so. The author accused the NFZ of failing to notify the National Prosecutor's Office of suspected criminal activity or to check subsequent years and other hospitals. According to Jadczak, Grabarczyk intimidated the NFZ inspector and completely challenged the findings, emphasizing that the audit concerned the hospital, not him. He referred to the post-audit report as an "institutional sewage." Jadczak added that the doctor was litigating with the hospital over over 730,000 PLN in unpaid invoices. The author recalled that Grabarczyk managed a company operating the "Budzik" Clinic for Adults in Warsaw. He also wrote that in 2024, Wirtualna Polska published an article in which he described a fabricated story about a doctor working in a hospital in Ukraine. The entry indicated that the material was also prepared by Jan Czura. https://t.co/yUiWuSntkt https://t.co/yUiWuSntkt #lekarskaafera #NFZ #zdrowie (translated)
