Why were we forced to do this? Because the court has substituted the executive and legislative powers in budgetary matters and the management of public finances. The task of the judiciary, according to the law and the Constitution, is to interpret and apply the existing laws, and from the perspective of the Government's jurists, the court is exceeding its constitutionally assigned sphere of competence because, according to Law 500 of 2002 on public finances and the Administrative Code, the preparation of the state budget draft, budget rectifications, and the allocation of amounts from the budget reserve fund are exclusive and sovereign attributes of the executive and legislative powers. On July 2, interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan announced that he had decided to refer the matter to the Constitutional Court to resolve a legal conflict of constitutional nature with the High Court of Cassation and Justice regarding the payment of salary arrears in the Justice sector. #justiție #drepturariale #Guvern (translated)

According to these reports, another patient was said to have died in a hospital in the Irkutsk region, though Russian authorities have not confirmed this.
