French high school students are protesting against inequalities in the education system, and the police are responding with brutality at their demonstrations, which is causing a political crisis and questions about the actual realization of promised equality in the country. #rovnost #protesty #Francie (translated)

The author of the contribution reminded that it has been four years since the killing of Matúš Horváth and Juraj Vankulič on Bratislava's Zámocká street. He wrote that they were killed out of hatred for who they were, and that hatred knows no boundaries. According to him, it arises from publicly spoken words as well as from the silence that does not respond to them. https://t.co/UokTGxGkWy #Nenávist #Rovnost #Památka #SK (translated)

The author of the contribution stated that Matúš and Juraj would be four years older today and that their murder reminded us of where hatred can lead. He wrote that, in his opinion, degrading words and labeling LGBTIQ+ people as a threat also support hatred, and he attributed responsibility to everyone who fuels it. He added that the memory of Matúš and Juraj obliges people to stand up for others. https://t.co/BJMwvBVJL5 #LGBTIQ #nenávisť #rovnosť #SK (translated)

The author of the contribution wrote that Macinka stated in the debate about inclusion that a child with a physical handicap is not a reason to transfer them to another class if they are mentally all right. The author described this way of expressing oneself as disgusting and asked what children who need help for other reasons are supposed to take away from such words. #inkluzivnívzdělávání #podporadětí #rovnostšancí #CZ (translated)

Current student protests in France, according to Professor Jan Rovný from Sciences Po, reflect a deeper political and economic crisis affecting both impoverished suburbs and elite schools, with protesters uniting in solidarity with the ideals of equality from revolutionary times, while the government reiterates the narrative about far-left groups. #Francie #studentsképrotesty #politickákryze (translated)

Pavel Jechort criticized the reactions to Eva Pavlová, who defended her husband, and wrote that everyone attacked her. He labeled Zemanová as better, as she, according to him, kept at least 100 km away from her husband, or Monike, whom he described as a woman spending time at the beach and shopping. He questioned whether Monike knew where she got the money for furs and handbags, and added that there were sources. He called women who stood by their husbands despicable. #feminismus #rovnost #společnost (translated)

The Czech pension system demonstrates a high level of egalitarianism, which means that most retirees do not suffer from material deprivation, and their average income in retirement declines less than that of residents of other countries, such as Austria and Slovakia, with only 3.6% of seniors at risk of poverty, which is the second lowest share in the OECD. #ČeskéDůchody #PenzijníSystém #Rovnostářství (translated)

Due to health reasons, she closed her practice in 1939 and died on October 13, 1940. A commemorative plaque on the house at Na Moráni honors her, although it has an incorrect graduation date. By 1939, approximately twelve hundred women had graduated from medical school. Among scientific assistants from 1909 to 1939, women made up about fourteen percent, and by 1936, only two women had achieved the title of associate professor — both in the field of dermatology. Anna Honzáková was not among them. Today, the situation has turned completely upside down at first glance. While in Anna Honzáková’s time, women stood before closed doors, current medicine resembles an inverted funnel. Today, 65 to 66% of medical school graduates are women, and in regular practice, female doctors make up over 60% of all professionals. However, the higher you look into the management structures, the more women disappear. Among leading doctors and heads of departments, the proportion of women drops to 37%. Among the eight Czech medical faculties, there are eight deans — not a single one is a woman. A similar imbalance exists in academia: women make up only 15.7% of professors in Czech science, and in the management of universities or research institutions, women occupy only about 19% of positions. Anna Honzáková did not lead a university department, did not leave behind a named medical finding, nor did she manage a clinic. However, she had a practice whose waiting room was fuller than those of her colleagues, to whom the professorial body allowed an academic career. She paved the way for thousands of successors. The story of full recognition of female expertise and authority at the helm of healthcare continues even today. P.S.: Every day I bring a story about an overlooked female scientist. Help spread the #ZenyVeVede series – through reactions, comments, shares, or by following @tkapler, so you don't miss the next episode. What do you think about her legacy and the current imbalance of women in leadership? Isn't it time to change that? #ZenyVeVede #Zdravotnictvi #Rovnost (translated)

Your disgusting comments by Hubert Lang towards women, including Jana Černochová… How dare he? As I saw in some video: the clitoris has thousands of nerve endings, but Lang's ego is just as sensitive. It is all the more peculiar that he completely lacks sensitivity towards women. And I would add for #feminismus #rovnost #sexismus #CZ (translated)

I consider the appointment of Taťána Kuchařová to the Government Council for Human Rights unacceptable. The advisory body of the cabinet should protect vulnerable groups and systemic standards, not serve as a political traffic jam for celebrities without legal expertise. A fundamental obstacle is her behavior during the divorce from Ondřej Brzobohatý. The purposeful misuse of sensitive queer topics and the privacy of her partner in the ecclesiastical court demonstrated complete disrespect for human dignity and minority rights. A person with such practices cannot credibly defend equality. After the civil divorce, Kuchařová initiated proceedings at the Metropolitan Church Court for the purpose of ecclesiastical annulment of marriage. In ecclesiastical law, marriage can only be annulled for specific reasons, which include, for example, the inability to fulfill marital duties, serious personality disorder, or the concealment of key facts before the wedding. To achieve annulment, Kuchařová based her arguments on her husband's intimate life: 🧊 In the lawsuit, she claimed that Brzobohatý is not sexually oriented and suffers from sexual orientation deviations. 🧊 From his private interest in dressing as a woman as part of artistic stylization (drag queen under the alias Tiffany Richbitch), she created evidence of his alleged inability to live in a heterosexual union. 🧊 She was represented by lawyer Jakub Kříž, known from ultraconservative organizations rejecting the rights of LGBTQ+ people. The contents of the ecclesiastical lawsuit, which was supposed to remain strictly confidential behind the closed doors of the ecclesiastical tribunal, leaked in May 2023 to the tabloid Blesk. Civil Court Ruling In January 2026, the District Court for Prague 2 ruled in a personality protection dispute that Brzobohatý brought against Kuchařová: ⚖️ The court concluded that Kuchařová presented false claims in the ecclesiastical lawsuit and consciously harmed the rights and dignity of her former partner. ⚖️ The model was ordered to pay Brzobohatý compensation for non-pecuniary harm amounting to 250,000 CZK. ⚖️ The court also ordered her to publish a public apology in the Blesk newspaper and prohibited her from continuing to spread these false statements. For all this, she should absolutely not be a member of the Government Council for Human Rights. 1️⃣ According to information from Blesk, she presented drag culture and non-traditional gender expressions in court as mental defects, immaturity, or inability to live a normal life. This is a textbook example of homophobia and transphobia that reinforces prejudices in society. 2️⃣ According to information from Blesk, she used sexuality and private preferences as leverage in property or divorce disputes. This is in direct contradiction to fundamental human rights standards. ⚠️🚧‼️ A person who has resorted to the denigration of minority identity for personal gain and faces legal repercussions for undermining human dignity cannot, by principle, guarantee the protection of equality and human rights at the national level.

A přesně o tom to je – o závisti. O nahotě a sexualizaci žen to nikdy nebylo.
