Actu Foot reported that a Chinese journalist placed Lionel Messi ahead of Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappé in his vote for the 2026 Ballon d'Or. According to his explanations, no candidate stood out as perfect: he considered Messi's performances in the World Cup to be historic and described Ousmane Dembélé as the most balanced candidate. He would have ranked Kane first if Bayern or England had reached the final. He also believed that Mbappé hadn't won any titles that year and that Lamine Yamal had scored a goal, without providing an assist, at the World Cup. Actu Foot attributed these statements to Titan Sports and Zhibo8. #BallonDor #Messi #Football (translated)
