Caco Cardassi wrote that, since Sunday, seeing the names of elected people had left him deeply anguished. He criticized support for antifeminist speeches, including the defense that men should control women and act aggressively, and condemned the possibility of forcing a raped child to carry a pregnancy to term. Cardassi said he was the father of a girl and reported having experienced domestic violence: according to him, his father beat his mother, and he and his brothers were also beaten when they tried to intervene. He stated that he wished no woman would go through similar situations, even those who defended these ideas. He questioned what future was being built for girls and women in the country and classified the situation as unacceptable. #Feminismo #DireitosHumanos #ViolênciaContraMulheres (translated)
