📌 Ανακοίνωση του ΚΣ της ΚΝΕ για τον θάνατο του συντρόφου Σπύρου Χαλβατζή 👉 Η Κομμουνιστική Νεολαία Ελλάδας με μεγάλη θλίψη και συγκίνηση αποχαιρετά τον σύντροφο Σπύρο Χαλβατζή. Αποχαιρετά έναν κομμουνιστή που αφιέρωσε τη ζωή του στην υπόθεση της εργατικής τάξης, στον αγώνα για μια κοινωνία χωρίς εκμετάλλευση ανθρώπου από άνθρωπο, τον σοσιαλισμό-κομμουνισμό. Μια ζωή δεμένη με το ΚΚΕ και την ΚΝΕ, με τους αγώνες του λαού και της νεολαίας, από τα νεανικά του χρόνια στην Κοζάνη και την Καστοριά, όπου δούλευε από 11 χρονών, στη συνέχεια μέσα από τις γραμμές της Δημοκρατικής Νεολαίας Λαμπράκη, μέχρι και τις εξορίες την περίοδο της χούντας στη Γυάρο, στη Λέρο και στον Ωρωπό. Εξόριστο στην Γυάρο τον βρίσκει η ίδρυση της ΚΝΕ και λίγο καιρό μετά από το Λακκί της Λέρου στέλνει επιστολή μαζί με άλλους νεολαίους εξόριστους κομμουνιστές που χαιρετίζουν την ίδρυση της Οργάνωσης.   👉 Ο Σπύρος Χαλβατζής υπηρέτησε την ΚΝΕ από τις πιο σημαντικές θέσεις ευθύνης. Το 1979, στο 2ο Συνέδριο της Οργάνωσης, εκλέχτηκε Γραμματέας του Κεντρικού Συμβουλίου της, όπου παρέμεινε μέχρι το 1986. Για μια ολόκληρη γενιά κομμουνιστών, το όνομά του είναι δεμένο με μια περίοδο μεγάλων απαιτήσεων και μεγάλων αγώνων, με ανθρώπους που δεν έμαθαν να μετρούν τη ζωή τους με το προσωπικό τους όφελος, αλλά με το αν αυτή μπορεί να γίνει χρήσιμη στην υπόθεση της εργατικής τάξης και του λαού.  👉 Αυτό ήταν και το βασικό γνώρισμα της δικής του πορείας. Η αφοσίωση, η επιμονή, η σταθερότητα στις αξίες και τα ιδανικά του κομμουνισμού. Η επιλογή να βρίσκεται εκεί όπου υπήρχε ανάγκη, να συμβάλλει στον αγώνα, να μεταφέρει την πείρα του στους νεότερους, να συνεχίζει να παλεύει αταλάντευτα, αισιόδοξα, πάντα με αυξημένη έγνοια για τη νεολαία, σε όποιο κομματικό καθήκον του ανατέθηκε. 👉 Για την ΚΝΕ, ο αποχαιρετισμός στον Σπύρο Χαλβατζή έχει ένα ιδιαίτερο βάρος. Γιατί μέσα από ανθρώπους σαν κι αυτόν η Οργάνωση κρατά ζωντανή τη συνέχεια της ιστορίας της. Από γενιά σε γενιά, από ΚΝίτη σε ΚΝίτη, μεταφέρεται όχι μόνο η γνώση μιας δύσκολης διαδρομής, αλλά κυρίως η πεποίθηση ότι αξίζει να αφιερώσεις τη ζωή σου σε έναν σκοπό μεγαλύτερο από τον εαυτό σου. Και αυτή είναι η πιο σημαντική κληρονομιά που μπορεί να αφήσει πίσω του ένας κομμουνιστής. Την πίστη ότι, όσο δύσκολοι κι αν είναι οι καιροί, υπάρχει ένας δρόμος που αξίζει να περπατηθεί μέχρι τέλους. Ο Σπύρος Χαλβατζής περπάτησε αυτόν τον δρόμο για ολόκληρη τη ζωή του. Γι' αυτό και σήμερα συγκινούμαστε για έναν σύντροφο που φεύγει, αλλά συγχρόνως εμπνεόμαστε, διδασκόμαστε μπροστά σε μια ολόκληρη ζωή που αφιερώθηκε στον αγώνα, σε μια ζωή που ήταν ένα κομμάτι της ίδιας της ιστορίας του Κόμματος και της ΚΝΕ.  👉Σύντροφε Σπύρο, σε αποχαιρετούμε με συγκίνηση, με σεβασμό και με την υπόσχεση που δίνει κάθε γενιά κομμουνιστών σε εκείνους που προηγήθηκαν: Να συνεχίσουμε! Να συνεχίσουμε τον αγώνα για τον οποίο αφιέρωσες τη ζωή σου. Να κρατήσουμε ζωντανή την υπόθεση της εργατικής τάξης. Να παλεύουμε για την κοινωνία της πραγματικής ελευθερίας, της ζωής με δικαιώματα, τον σοσιαλισμό-κομμουνισμό.  👉 Και θα σε συναντάμε ξανά και ξανά. Στις νέες και τους νέους που θα αποφασίζουν να οργανωθούν στην ΚΝΕ, στους αγώνες που θα ξεσπούν, στα Φεστιβάλ ΚΝΕ-Οδηγητή, στους ανθρώπους που θα επιλέγουν να μη συμβιβαστούν με την αδικία και την εκμετάλλευση. Θα σε συναντάμε στην ιστορία της ΚΝΕ, στην ιστορία του Κόμματος που υπηρέτησες, στην προσπάθεια κάθε νέου κομμουνιστή να γίνει καλύτερος αγωνιστής, πιο αποφασισμένος, πιο χρήσιμος στην υπόθεση της εργατικής τάξης. Γιατί αυτή είναι τελικά η συνέχεια μιας στρατευμένης ζωής που φτάνει στο τέλος της. Να γίνεται δύναμη στα χέρια των επόμενων γενιών. Να περνάει από άνθρωπο σε άνθρωπο, από κομμουνιστή σε κομμουνιστή, μέχρι να γίνει πράξη το όραμα για το οποίο τόσες και τόσοι αφιέρωσαν τη ζωή τους.
