È successo che al minuto 52, sul risultato di 2-1 per l’Inghilterra, Bellingham è caduto in area dopo un contrasto con Rodri: il tutto sotto gli occhi di Massa che come le immagini dimostrano è lì a due passi, vede tutto e decide che Rodri non ha commesso alcun fallo oppure che Bellingham è caduto a terra accentuando l’entità del contatto. Cos’è successo invece in Inghilterra-Spagna? È successo che Di Bello, l’arbitro al VAR, si è ricordato che in tutta Europa, anzi che in tutto il mondo si gioca con il regolamento del gioco del calcio e non con quello di Orsato; e poichè il contatto tra la tibia di Rodri e quella di Bellingham c’era stato e il regolamento invita espressamente il VAR a richiamare l’arbitro in caso di chiaro ed evidente errore, ecco che Di Bello rinsavisce di colpo, richiama Massa e lo invita all’On Field Review a bordo campo. Massa risponde obbedisco, va al monitor, vede la gamba di Rodri colpire la gamba di Bellingham e anche se l’inglese ci marcia un po’ lasciandosi cadere più che volentieri, facendo cioè ciò che Orsato odia e persegue di più, Massa non ha dubbi: poichè non siamo in Serie A dove vige la giurisdizione dello sceriffo di Schio ma in Europa, dove conta il regolamento, l’intervento di Rodri su Bellingham è da calcio di rigore. Dito puntato sul dischetto e tanti saluti al “protocollo Orsato” (che Massa e Di Bello, naturalmente, torneranno ad osservare fin dalla prossima giornata di campionato in barba al regolamento del gioco del calcio). Insomma, ormai l’avete capito tutti: siamo alle comiche. Anche se in realtà per chi ama il calcio e ha a cuore i valori della regolarità e della giustizia c’è ben poco da ridere: perchè Massa e Di Bello hanno confermato ieri, col loro operato in Inghilterra-Spagna, che quello che si gioca in Italia è un calcio fuorilegge, da selvaggio West, dove i banditi hanno licenza di fare quel che gli pare perchè allo sceriffo del villaggio, lo sceriffo Orsato, piace così.
