Javier Tebas Medrano stated that Goebbels' propaganda techniques were studied in journalism and communication faculties to understand how they worked and to recognize them today. As an example, he cited the mandatory course General Theory of Informative Messages, from the first year of the Journalism Degree at the University of La Laguna, whose teaching guide for the 2025-2026 course included an exercise on the current application of the 11 principles of Goebbels. Tebas asserted that his comparison referred to techniques, not to an ideology or the fans of Real Madrid, and that this clarification was already noted in his original publication. He said he had criticized Real Madrid TV's systematic repetition of messages, the selective presentation of facts, and the construction of an enemy, and he used a derogatory term to refer to the channel's spokespeople. He also asked how many requests for schedule changes had been submitted and how many had been accepted, and pointed out that, in his opinion, that history should be taken into account. He added that the outrage and calls for resignation did not address the issues he had raised. #Propaganda #Comunicación #Periodismo (translated)

He added that he continued to make a difference at 39 years old and linked his current performance to what he showed in each training session. #Messi #Fútbol #PSG (translated)

Guille G. Alfonsín described the presentation of the Tesla Roadster as a very effective advertising maneuver to showcase the company's technical capabilities and attract attention, although he noted that the vehicle presented did not match the 2+2 convertible electric sports car reserved by customers in 2017. According to what he wrote, the model had initially been promised for 2020 and, nine years later, Tesla announced another two years of waiting. Alfonsín highlighted the engineering of the demonstration but warned that marketing a vehicle capable of controlled flight would require aeronautical certifications and operating authorizations, in addition to road homologation. He also raised doubts about the use on open roads of fans that generate aerodynamic lift by sucking air underneath the vehicle, due to the risk of expelling dust, gravel, and stones at other users. The engineer considered the demonstration technically notable, but questioned the commercial value of the product and the delay for those who had reserved the car. He stated that Elon Musk continued to make promises and delivered only a part of what was announced. Alfonsín said he would analyze the technical aspects in the PowerArt videocast and in upcoming videos. #Tesla #Roadster #Ingeniería (translated)

Judge Teo stated that the threats against a judge in the performance of her duties had reached the point of making security necessary. He also claimed that the CGPJ had not managed to issue a unanimous statement in her support due to the refusal of the progressive members, and that, in his opinion, this affected the rule of law, not just judges. #EstadoDeDerecho #Justicia #DerechosHumanos (translated)

A study from the University of Oviedo reveals that, despite not needing exercise to survive, physical activity still holds value due to mechanisms such as homeostatic compensation, costly signaling, and reward recoding, which influence how our brain values physical effort. #Ejercicio #Salud #Bienestar (translated)

Iván Cepeda Castro announced that he would participate in a peaceful mobilization against Abelardo de la Espriella and his government that day. He claimed that the government had issued decree 1525 of 2026 the day before as part of a strategy of intimidation and with the purpose of repressing social protest. According to Cepeda, the protocol had not been consulted with the public or with social organizations, unlike the one, he said, that was in effect during the government of the Historical Pact led by Gustavo Petro. Cepeda argued that De la Espriella's protocol expanded the use of force, restricted police dialogue, and could facilitate the criminalization of those participating in peaceful mobilizations. He recalled that, between 2019 and 2021, the intervention of ESMAD had left young people injured and killed. He also stated that during Petro's four years in government, dialogue and the guarantee of protest prevailed, and that there were no young people killed by police gunfire, false positives, or eye injuries caused by gas canisters. The senator accused De la Espriella of wanting to return to past practices and said that the mobilization would be massive and determined. He added that they would not allow what he described as the arbitrariness of an authoritarian regime, nor, as he expressed, would they allow De la Espriella to destroy rights, democracy, and life. #ProtestaPacífica #DerechosHumanos #MovilizaciónSocial (translated)

Gustavo Petro rejected Eva's accusations against the mother of his younger daughters and claimed they lacked evidence. He also questioned the director and the owner of the magazine that published them, asserting that the allegations portrayed his family as linked to drug trafficking and arms trafficking. Petro stated that his children were desired and that he raised them with the intention of bringing them closer to Colombia's history, books, and poetry. He claimed that his family had distanced itself from power and greed, and highlighted the help he received from Jorge Emilio Alcocer in his fight against narcoparamilitarism in Sucre, as well as the public and professional background of Emilio Alcocer, whom he identified as the grandfather and great-grandfather of his daughters. The author asserted that he had fulfilled the peace agreement he signed 37 years ago and denied that official planes from his government had transported clandestine weapons or drugs. He stated that he had removed officials suspected of doing so before his government. Furthermore, he urged affected individuals to go to court against Eva, the director, and the owner of the magazine if they did not publish a retraction of equivalent scope; he noted that the accusation was based on the testimony that "a person told me." #Colombia #Justicia #Historia (translated)

The use of a woman's drama solely for partisan benefit seems profoundly immoral to me. Juan del Val, a regular at this debate table, commented that Maricarmen, for him, is the symbol of "a failure" that he finds "collective" and added that "the use of the Maricarmen case, both what happened before and what is happening after her death" seems to him "a regrettable exercise in pornography." #Desahucios #Vivienda #PedroSánchez (translated)
