The author believed that the high school crisis should have led to a thorough reflection on the organization of high schools, particularly concerning schedules, content, and access to higher education. He wrote that it had instead resulted in ad hoc measures, insufficiently funded and imprecise, most of which had been postponed to 2028, when the government would no longer be in power. #Éducation #CriseLycéenne #RéformeScolaire #FR (translated)

Technically, there is no longer a common core. Education Minister Valérie Glatigny (MR) does not mince words: the common core project – that is, the same schedule for everyone until the third year of secondary school – is dead. #Éducation #RéformeScolaire #ValérieGlatigny (translated)

The author believed that the PISA ranking had revealed the extent of school dropout and that its consequences were now being felt. He called for the system to be rebuilt rather than just making adjustments, so that teachers could regain their role of transmission. https://t.co/fKv2fovmBR #Éducation #RéformeScolaire #PISA #FR (translated)

The author believed that the school's problem was not limited to resources and stated that spending on institutions had never been so high. He argued that in mathematics, an 8-year-old Chinese student today has the level of a 15-year-old French student, presenting this comparison as a measure of school failure. He called for the school to be reformed and shared a link. https://t.co/fbEs896vkT #Éducation #RéformeScolaire #ÉchecScolaire #CN #FR (translated)
