Oficjalne dane GDDKiA mówią same za siebie: 5593 km (z czego 1950 km to autostrady, a reszta to ekspresówki), w tym roku kolejne ~290 km, a cel to prawie 8000 km. Prawie 8-krotny wzrost! U nas? Dobiliśmy ledwo do jakiś 2000 km. Czyli u nas tempo ślimaka (zaledwie 2,5 raza więcej), u Was absolutna rakieta. Ale najgorsze nawet nie są same kilometry. Chodzi o samą logikę. U nas każdy kilometr asfaltu jest przyspawany do stolicy. Klasyczny układ promienisty: M1, M3, M5, M7... Wszystko musi przejść przez Budapeszt. Chcesz przejechać z zachodu na wschód kraju bez wbijania się na wiecznie zakorkowaną obwodnicę M0? Zapomnij. Telepiesz się bocznymi drogami przez wioski. A u Was? Zbudowaliście prawdziwą, nowoczesną sieć (grid). A1, A2, A4, potężne S3, S7, S19... Całe regiony gadają ze sobą bezpośrednio, bez pytania Warszawy o zdanie. Ktoś pewnie wyciągnie kalkulator: "No ale Węgry mają gęstszą sieć na 1000 km²!". Może na papierze tak... Tylko co mi z gęstości, skoro stoimy w jednym wielkim korku pod Budapesztem, a Wy w tym czasie śmigacie płynnie z Gdańska w Tatry? Szacun za tę robotę.
