69 224 009$💰 Je me suis amusé ce matin à simuler l’héritage potentiel qui pourrait être légué à mes enfants. Dans ce calcul, j’ai pris une performance annualisée de 7% par an sur mon patrimoine financier, sur un horizon de temps de 50 ans (j’aurai 83 ans). (Je vise en réalité 10 à 12% par an sur ma poche financière, mais restons prudents.) Je suis parti du principe que j’arrête totalement d’investir à partir d’aujourd’hui (ce qui n’arrivera pas, bien au contraire). Je suis également parti du postulat que je ne vendrai pas mes actifs pour assurer mon train de vie (les dividendes et les prochaines lignes de crédit Lombard seront là pour assurer celui-ci). Je n’ai également pris en compte que mon patrimoine financier, J’ai donc totalement exclu l’immobilier et tous les investissements alternatifs. Étant donné qu’une bonne partie de mon train de vie futur sera financée grâce à une ligne de crédit Lombard, J’estime que celle-ci devrait représenter, a minima, 30 à 35 millions de dettes au moment de mon décès, compte tenu de tirages annuels qui auront vocation à devenir de plus en plus importants au fil des années. On arriverait donc à un héritage net de dettes qui resterait considérable, autour des 30 à 35 millions, Et ce, avec des hypothèses volontairement conservatrices. Notamment parce que cette simulation suppose que je n’investisse plus un seul centime à compter d’aujourd’hui, alors que je compte continuer de déployer du cash de manière importante, a minima, pendant encore 10 à 15 ans. Conclusion 1 : Il va absolument falloir continuer de procéder à un maximum de donations de mon vivant, qui se matérialiseront par des donations du reste de la nue-propriété de ma holding à mon second enfant afin de pouvoir transmettre la partie française de mon patrimoine sans impôt. Conclusion 2 : Pour le reste des actifs, il sera essentiel de terminer mes jours dans un pays qui ne taxe pas (ou quasiment pas) les successions en ligne directe. Conclusion 3 : Il va falloir dispenser une éducation financière rigoureuse à ma fille et à mon fils.
