Baloo denounced racist remarks directed at a Martiniquais during a game of Mario Kart. He stated that the person referred to the "cousins" of his interlocutor because of his skin color and believed that racism had become normalized. To put these remarks in context, Baloo recalled that in 1963, the French state created BUMIDOM to organize the arrival of thousands of Antilleans and Réunionese in mainland France. He claimed that France then needed labor for sectors such as hospitals, La Poste, administrations, factories, and the RATP. Some, he added, arrived by boat at Le Havre and subsequently faced racism, discrimination, and sometimes deplorable living conditions. Baloo also mentioned the consequences of slavery and colonization in the Antilles, as well as economic inequalities, dependence on imports, and the cost of living. According to him, in 2022, food prices were 40% higher in Martinique and 42% higher in Guadeloupe than in mainland France. Furthermore, he accused the state of having allowed, through exemptions until 1993, the use of chlordane in the Antillean banana fields, whereas the pesticide had been banned in France in 1990. He claimed that soils, waters, and populations had been contaminated for decades and that studies had established a link between exposure to the product and the risk of prostate cancer. Finally, Baloo mentioned Teddy Riner, Thierry Henry, Kalash, Kingsley Coman, and Ciryl Gane, arguing that Antilleans were considered French when they worked, paid taxes, or represented France, but labeled as "cousins" when it came to finding someone to blame. He urged his interlocutor to learn the history of France. #Racisme #HistoireDeFrance #Antilles (translated)

"In the highest peak, I was producing an average of 120 kilograms of chemical hashish daily. They were pressuring me to make 200 kilos, but I couldn't handle that anymore. I was exposed to enormous concentrations of chemicals. The doses were so large that I would regularly go home intoxicated and stoned," Pavel describes. "Considering that one of my hundred-gram blocks was sold online for five thousand crowns, I produced goods worth up to 150 million monthly. And that was just hashish. I'm not counting synthetic cannabis and other products that were manufactured there," Pavel calculates. #syntetickýhašiš #protidrogovápolitika #nelegálníbyznys (translated)
