I believe I just got as close to death as possible. Presidente Dutra highway, near the Internacional Mall heading towards São Paulo. A citizen thought it was a great idea to transport cardboard signs in the luggage of a trailer, without ANY tie-downs or weight. One sign flew off (what a surprise), and simply STUCK to the front windshield of my car at 90 km/h. Seriously, if I didn't crap my pants, I will never do it again; my blood pressure must have dropped to my feet, I almost had a heart attack, if I didn’t crash into someone first. In a fraction of a second, I almost lost everything. I remembered the truck that passed above the height of the overpass and killed the driver in the opposite lane. Our lives are very fragile.
