Quando Deus é a nossa segurança Há momentos em que tudo o que queremos é uma garantia. Alguém ao nosso lado. Uma porta aberta. Dinheiro suficiente. Uma resposta pronta. Alguma coisa que nos faça sentir que nada poderá dar errado. Esdras também poderia ter buscado essa segurança. Poderia ter pedido soldados, cavalos e proteção para a viagem. Mas havia algo maior dentro dele: a certeza de que Deus não precisava de um exército para guardar aqueles que confiavam nele. Isso não significa que devemos rejeitar ajuda, recursos ou pessoas. Deus muitas vezes usa tudo isso para cuidar de nós. O perigo começa quando o recurso ocupa o lugar da nossa confiança. Quando nossa paz depende de quem prometeu ajudar, do dinheiro que temos, da resposta que estamos esperando ou da porta que precisa se abrir. Deus às vezes permite que algumas seguranças desapareçam justamente para nos lembrar de onde sempre veio a nossa verdadeira segurança. Talvez hoje você esteja diante de uma estrada que não consegue enxergar por inteiro. Talvez existam decisões, preocupações ou situações que você gostaria de controlar. E talvez Deus esteja lhe dizendo silenciosamente: “Você não precisa saber tudo o que acontecerá. Precisa apenas saber quem vai com você.” A mão de Deus continua sobre aqueles que o buscam. Quando faltarem respostas, Ele continua sendo Deus. Quando alguém disser não, Ele continua abrindo caminhos. Quando seus recursos parecerem pequenos, os recursos dele continuam infinitos. E quando você não enxergar proteção alguma ao redor, isso não significa que esteja sozinho. Há batalhas em que Deus nos dá pessoas para ajudar. Há outras em que Ele nos deixa perceber que somente o seu braço nos sustentou. Nas duas situações, a glória continua sendo dele. Por isso, antes de correr desesperadamente atrás de alguém, corra para Deus. Antes de entregar seu coração ao medo, entregue sua preocupação a Ele. Faça o que estiver ao seu alcance, use com sabedoria os recursos que Deus colocar em suas mãos, mas não coloque neles a sua esperança. Talvez a maior paz que você possa sentir hoje venha desta verdade: Você pode não ter todas as garantias que gostaria, mas tem a presença de Deus. E quem caminha debaixo da boa mão de Deus nunca caminha sozinho. Senhor, ensina-me a usar aquilo que colocaste em minhas mãos sem transformar recursos em ídolos.
