Prezidentem Maďarska byl právě zvolen András Baka, bývalý soudce Evropského soudu pro lidská práva. Zvolila ho ústavní většina Tiszy 140 hlasy, poslanci Fideszu na hlasování nepřišli, považují ho za nelegitimní, stejně jako odvolání prezidenta Sulyoka. Baka v úvodním proslovu řekl, že Maďarsko ztratilo čas celé jedné generace a že v sobě musí Maďaři přestat vidět nepřátele. “Porušení zákona je třeba odhalit, využívání veřejných peněz kontrolovat, ale nemůžeme nové Maďarsko budovat na pomstě,” řekl zřejmě v narážce na zúčtování s Orbánismem, které slibuje Tisza. Magyar dlouho hledal velmi známé a populární jméno, což Baka není. Na druhou stranu je respektovaný právník s velkou kariérou a jeho výběr chválí i někteří fideszáčtí komentátoři. Takže očekávání bylo jiné, nicméně vyložené zklamání nepanuje. Po fiasku s oslovením šachistky Judit Polgár, která nabídku odmítla, už Tisza mluvila s dalšími adepty jen za zavřenými dveřmi. András Baka je soudce a právní teoretik, který zkoumá otázku lidských práv a práv menšin. V letech 1991-2008 byl soudce Evropského soudu pro lidská práva. Když se vrátil do Maďarska, stal se v roce 2009 předsedou Nejvyššího soudu, kam ho zvolili poslanci vládní MSZP i opozičního Fideszu. Jenže v roce 2011 ho Fidesz 3 roky před koncem funkčního období odvolal z funkce, tehdy se jeho jméno stalo známější pro širokou veřejnost. Paradoxně teď nastupuje po prezidentu Sulyokovi, kterého podobným způsobem odvolala Tisza. Prezidentem bude nejspíš jen přechodně. Tisza chce zavést přímou volbu a zároveň s ní posílit pozici hlavy státu, a to v rámci zavedení nové ústavy. Baka se tedy nejspíš stane už třetím maďarským prezidentem v řadě, který nedokončí mandát (prezidentka Novák odstoupila v roce 2024 po skandálu s milostí, prezident Sulyok byl v letos v červenci odvolán). #Maďarsko #politika #lidskápráva
