Consequently, the general five-year period applies, and this has elapsed without actions that validly interrupt it; thus, the disciplinary action is also barred by the statute of limitations in UEFA. The mere receipt of documentation does not prove any of those behaviors nor allows, by itself, to evade the statute of limitations.
